Sure, kids need structure. But we think it’s difficult to overstate the value of good, old-fashioned play. It’s one of the reasons we have a tough time calling Conner Prairie a museum. When kids come to Conner Prairie, they have space to run, play, and uncover something new. Families find a deeper connection by exploring together. We call it room to “WHOA!” Our Welcome to Wanderland campaign included a set of three TV spots designed to inspire folks, young and old, to explore an 800-acre wanderland where their imaginations were free to roam wild. For six straight record-breaking years in a row, we helped the organization grow its gate by 42%. That’s life on the Prairie.
