Butler Arts Center came to us with a challenge: streamline their arts calendar, make it easy for guests to sort through hundreds of events (at multiple venues), and easily purchase tickets online. We kicked this project off with research and interviews to determine precise needs. During this discovery phase, we defined user stories for our various audiences, mapped out specific goals, defined technology requirements, and probed for potential opportunities. We also worked to define the metrics for post-deployment success.Through strategic design and architecture, the new site minimizes complexity with intuitive, filterable functionality to create a  joyful user experience. UX, OMG. Post launch, both site traffic and online ticket sales have doubled. Now if you’ll excuse us, we have a show to attend!
